Come in and enjoy our beautiful high teas in the nostalgic ambiance of Escape to Picton. The nostalgia of high tea fits perfectly at Escape to Picton which was originally the Bank of New Zealand back in 1902. You can imagine the bank manager of the day hosting occasions just like this. The old safe is still there, behind the bar.
Our High Teas are served on 3 tiered glass stands with antique tea sets. There’s a large range of teas to choose from or alternatively you can have coffee. Our High Teas have a gorgeous, gourmet selection of sweet treats including but not limited to our macaroons, opera cake, lemon curd tartlets as well as a selection of traditional sandwiches and savory delights.

We are open for High Teas, Afternoon Teas and Cupcakes every Saturday and Sunday 2pm – 5pm

Come in and enjoy a cupcake or two with a lovely hot tea or coffee? Or take away a gift box of 6 cupcakes. At home, you could always say you made them?
